So yep…it is officially official…Qawarirah Art is moving on to pastures new…kinda sad in some respects but kinda exciting in others, sad because my hobby of 4 years has now come to an end…exciting because what lies ahead is going to be nothing short of amazing and life-changing Insha’Allah…Whether for better or for worse that remains to be seen, but you can guess what I make du’aa for…Bi’idhnillah <3

I have no idea if anybody ever reads any of what I write, I would hope so but I can’t be sure…If you do…drop me a line Insha’Allah, whether it’s a comment or an email, it’d be nice to hear from readers before I completely move away from the site…

So…Havn’t updated the site for quite some time, I’m lovin’ the new look alhamdulillah, thanks Plum

The most stressful pieces I’ve ever had to paint are those I’ve done for special people, special friends… lol stressful in the sense that I’ve literally spent hours sitting infront of a blank canvas worried I was going to mess it up before I’d even started, sounds nuts huh… =P but they’ve all been worth it in the end…Alhamdulillah, investing your love and time into something or somebody is never a bad thing, and even if things don’t add up, if the gesture isn’t appreciated, the feeling you get when embarking on such a project is one of the best feelings the heart knows at that paricular moment in time…

This isn’t really an art related piece, I’m going off on a tangent but just thinking about the situation one of my friends was in not too long ago and how things ended for her and the one she intended to marry, I don’t believe anything is ever a complete waste of time, I don’t believe any experience or person is a waste of time, something you should regret investing your time in should things go wrong. See, if we all live as though we’re going to die tomorrow, we’d value each and every moment and the feelings that come with it…so even if things werent meant to be, we should remember that the moments in which they were… brought such unexplicable joy and sweetness… that they should linger on in memories and eventually fade as you move on, rather than regretting each moment spent on something that Allah had decreed for you anyway, so in accepting that that was the way it was supposed to be, and celebrating what you had (not literally) rather than why you spent so much time on it, you do justice to the feelings you felt were oh so right at the time…Hmm I think I stopped making sense a long time ago but there you have it..and that somehow stemmed from my few sentences on paintings for special people *scratch*

lol…anyway, here’s one such piece painted for a special person, and need I say, it was worth it in every way…and more =D alhamdulillah.

Qawarirah Art had its 2nd Summer event today alhamdulillah, went well and sold quite a few pieces, well when they werent flying about in the wind that is :/ seriously who’d have thought canvasses would fly away that easily?! Took several pics but nothing amazing, next event in 2 days insha’Allah, du’aas min fadhlek =D

Camera. I need something to do justice to the art pieces.

Have you ever wished you could have a built-in camera in the back of your head? Like whatever you see you can take a pic of it, exactly as it is, without any colour loss or lighting problems…that would be so awesome, right? *dreams*

lol…But yeh I need a new cam basically. Until then I’m reluctant to take pics, probably will though =P a few…maybe….Insha’Allah… =P
